Pepper-Ginger Jack Cheese Paratha (Tortillas)


Some crazy ideas certainly lead to some brilliant tasting dishes for sure! The last posting of mine on Deep Flavored Pepper-Ginger Jack Cheese is the main ingredient for this Paratha. Son & his fiance loved it. 🙂

Ingredients:

For the paratha:

  1. Whole wheat flour – 2 cups
  2. salt – 1 tsp
  3. water – enough to make a stiff dough

For the filling:

Deep Flavored Pepper-Ginger Jack Cheese

Method:

  1. Take a lemon sized dough and flatten it just enough to place a spoonful of the cheese stuffing.20170911_081129
  2. Fold it into a ball and roll it flat as shown below.20170911_081308
  3. Place the rolled paratha on a hot griddle and brush lightly with oil or clarified butter (your choice). Cook both sides.20170911_081428.jpg
